I am astonished to discover that (apparently) a higher proportion of the Aotearoa/NZ population (86%) lives in cities than is the case in the UK – where the figure is 83.9%. Not much in it admittedly, and it depends on exactly how you define ‘urban’. BUT still a big surprise!
